Requirements:

• Business owners, leaders, C-suite executives, top ESG and consulting professionals, business analysts, corporate development experts etc who need to understand the ESG system in-depth and learn from best practice in this area.
• Have minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of ESG and/or Sustainability or hold ISF II – Specialist Level + 2 years of experience in the field of ESG and/or Sustainability.
• Comply with IASE 4 E Standards.
• Sign the IASE Code of Ethics.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP:

• Earn your IASE designation and join the international community of the ESG professionals.
• Starting next year after receiving the designation you need to keep up with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your role and to provide your 15hrs. CPDs (continuing professional development) annual declaration.
• Annual membership fee is: € 95.
• To maintain your IASE designation and the enhanced status as an international recognized ESG professional you need to comply with all of the above requirements.

Validity:

• Certification valid for 12 months.
• After this period, the professional can request its renewal through the My IASE section.

IASE promoted a Public Consultation with important companies, professionals, and institutions to determine what knowledge should be considered so that a professional can act under good practices for ESG, the so-called “Basic ESG Certification”.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE IASE CERTIFICATION EXAM:

  • Applications can be made through the IASE website.
  • The IASE certification fee for the Expert Level is €350 + VAT.
  • Examination: ONLINE, 60 MCQ – multiple choice questions
  • Duration: 120 min.
  • Pass mark: 70% (min. 42 correct answers out of 60).

  • IASE Training Programs for ISF ® and ISB ® level I are offered by Exponential Education at €1250 [WITHOUT VAT applied for TRAINING SERVICES].
  • Identity checks, qualification criteria, payments, etc., will be done through a combination of facial recognition technology and the local IASE member/affiliate in the aspirant's geographic area before being able to enter the Board Exams.
  • It is the aspirant's responsibility to ensure that he is aware of the date, time, and location of his exam.
  • A candidate may drop out of an exam before starting the exam. In such cases, your exam fee will be carried over to a future date. Arrangements regarding special needs or illness during an exam can be made by contacting the regional body member of the IASE. IASE Exam Terms and Conditions section below for more information.   • All IASE Board Examinations exams are delivered online only.
  • Aspirants have the flexibility to take the Board Exam from anywhere in the world.
  • Expert Level | Exam format: Closed questions; 60 multiple choice questions (MCQ); 4 options per question, with only one correct answer; 120 minutes allowed to complete all Expert Level Board Exams; Approval 70% (42 correct answers or more).
  • Available languages: English. Others upon request.
  • The scheduling of the exams is done electronically before being sent to a Board of Examiners for final approval.
  • Results will be formally communicated via an online basis directly to individual aspirants only. The results will only be communicated to third parties if it is possible to provide proof of consent from individual aspirants.

Becoming certified with IASE involves much more than being approved in our online exam. With IASE, you also make a commitment to professional attitude and practice called the 4Es Standard, to be renewed annually through a recertification process.
